Throughout his career, Shawn has worked at RAF Financial, Invesco Mutual Funds, and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and currently serves as a Director and Family Wealth Advisor at Baird. He specializes in investment management, tax, estate, and retirement planning, and is known for simplifying complex financial challenges.

A longtime Westminster, Colorado resident, Shawn enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

With over 26 years of experience as a financial advisor, Will Norris brings deep expertise and a steady, thoughtful approach to helping families plan for their future. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Will has always been driven by a love of problem‑solving and a desire to make complex financial decisions feel clear and manageable. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2005, further strengthening his commitment to comprehensive, client‑focused planning.

Will’s work centers on comprehensive financial guidance, including tax‑efficient strategies, family wealth planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. He believes the best financial plans are built through genuine relationships and an understanding of each family’s unique values, goals, and story.

Based in Boulder, Will enjoys the Colorado lifestyle with his wife and two children. When he’s not working with clients, you’ll find him outside- hiking, biking, skiing, running, or boating -or exploring new destinations around the world. Travel is one of his great passions, and he loves discovering new places and perspectives.

Collin joined the team in 2023 and quickly obtained his FINRA Series 7, Series 66 designation, and CFP® certification. He worked for 3 years in banking after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Collin made the career change after he realized that he wanted to better help people learn financial literacy and how to align that with their goals.

Jacob joined Baird in 2022 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Originally from Milwaukee, WI he is excited to be in Boulder, CO and apart of the Smith Norris Group. Jacob holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 designations with the plan of obtaining his CFP® certification in the upcoming year. He is passionate about helping others navigate their financial goals. Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys spending his time outdoors - whether it’s hunting, fishing, or golfing, he’s always up for a new adventure.
